Edinburgh Road Play area in Bridgwater gets a make over

The toddler play area in Edinburgh Road, Bridgwater is set for a £28,000 make-over in time for summer. Works will commence on 7th June 2017, which means that the play area will be closed for approximately three weeks, subject to favourable weather conditions. 01/06/17

The items being installed consist of a large climbing frame which features a slide, bridge, fireman's pole, playhouse and play panels alongside a roundabout, four-person springer, single springer, two toddler swings and a play train. All the new equipment will be set into new rubber bonded mulch surfacing.

A spokesperson for Sedgemoor District Council said 'We are excited to get the project underway and we're sure the new equipment will be a big hit with families in the local area'.

"Sedgemoor District Council would like to thank Hamp Community Association who helped fund the installation works and local ward councillors for working with us to support this fantastic project'.
